Description

The Flomarvel FH-MO/S series 2-way electric ball valve is made of UPVC, offering excellent corrosion resistance and suitable for use in a variety of environments. This is a two-wire standard control system, allowing valve opening and closing by reversing the power polarity.  After the valve reaches the fully open or fully closed position, the actuator automatically cuts off power and keeps the valve in position.

OP01 Two-Wire Control

1. SW is switched to open, red wire connects to power “+” and black wire connects to power “-”. The valve opens and stops automatically after it reaches the fully open position. The actuator cuts off power and the valve stays in the open position.
2. SW is switched to close, red wire connects to power “-” and black wire connects to power “+”. The valve closes and stops automatically after it reaches the fully closed position. The actuator cuts off power and the valve stays in the closed position.

OP01F Two-Wire Control With Signal Feedback

1. SW is switched to open, red wire connects to power “+”, and black wire connects to power “-”. The valve opens fully and keeps position. After the valve is fully open, the yellow wire outputs the open position signal (white wire is COM). The actuator automatically cuts off power and the valve stays in the open position.
2. SW is switched to close, red wire connects to power “-”, and black wire connects to power “+”. The valve closes fully and keeps position. After the valve is fully closed, the green wire outputs the close position signal (white wire is COM). The actuator automatically cuts off power and the valve stays in the closed position.

FAQ

• What are the differences between OP01F wiring and OP05 wiring?

         For OP01F wiring, the actuator will cut off automatically and the valve stops moving after the valve is fully open/closed. For OP05 wiring, the external control is needed to stop the valve moving after the valve is fully open/closed.

• What is the IP (Ingress Protection) rating of this valve?

         IP67. For permanent outdoor installation, they should be installed under a cover or within a protective enclosure to avoid prolonged exposure to rain.

• Is this valve certified for potable water?

         Yes. Flomarvel stainless steel ball valves are certified to NSF 61 and are approved for safe use with potable (drinking) water.
